The Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN 2018 International Conference and Gala/Award Nite will take place at Four Points by Sheraton, Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria from 27th of September 2018 to 28th of September 2018.
The theme of the 2018 International conference is “Driving Business Rescue in the Shadow of the Law”. The Conference will focus on the various business rescue mechanisms available to financially distressed companies and the legal/regulatory framework essential for a vibrant and modern business rescue regime.
The 2018 International Conference sessions will critically examine the concept of business rescue and the policy, legislative, institutional, judicial and regulatory reforms necessary to have an efficient, modern and fit-for-purpose business rescue regime. The conference with 5 sessions seeks to discuss business rescue and restructuring within the context of the ongoing development of Insolvency Law in Nigeria, namely the ongoing reforms of the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA). Central to these discussions will also be the role of Insolvency Practitioners, Lawyers, Taxation Practitioners and Accountants in driving effective business rescue within the ambits of the law.
